Normal and upright italic script fonts line a well-trodden path; left-leaning fonts (or "rightalics" as they're confusingly called), on the other hand, are a rarity. Here at Schizotype Fonts we don't like to do things too conventionally, so here's Backstroke, a laid back script with a unique voice. With contextual alternates for start and end forms of certain characters, swash versions of L, Q and Z (surely the most used initial caps!), and a handful of stylistic sets, Backstroke is a restrained script. Stylistic sets are: 1. the start forms of i, j, m, n, and p are used always instead of only at word starts. 2. lower case ascenders get a whole lot loopier. 3. alternate versions of G, N and Y. 4. swash L, Q and Z. 5. swaps the default Polish script lslash for a more familiar version While fonts that lean the wrong way may be a bit more difficult to fit into your layouts than boring old regular italics, they will reward you with their individuality. Why not give it a go?

Download The Fudge Font Family From The Ampersand Forest

Download Now Server 1 Download Now Server 2 Download Now Server 3 The Fudge takes his inspiration from a proud tradition of big display serif type. He's an eclectic fellow — he borrows style elements from early 20th century humanism, from the Scotch Roman tradition, and from contemporary trends. He ranges from zero contrast in his Skinny form to voluptuously high contrast in his Chonk persona, which makes him fantastic for expressiveness and massive contrast in headlines and subheads, giving your designs a dynamic voice and a great range of color. The Fudge is designed to be equal parts friendly and elegant—he'd look a treat on a theatre poster or on a package of caramels, on a book cover or on a website, in bold color or in stark black and white. As long as the subject matter is delicious—whether it's food or literature or music or… anything that requires a stro...

Download Resist Sans Font Family From Groteskly Yours

Download Now Server 1 Download Now Server 2 Download Now Server 3 Resist Sans is a free-spirited neo-grotesque that embodies both the innate desire for revolt and a tendency towards uniformity. While Resist Sans preserves the neat, minimalist look which is associated with neo-grotesques, it also accentuates the tentativeness of each letter form. The name, too, hints at the rebellious character of the typeface. Resist Sans comes in 20 styles (10 uprights and matching obliques). Text vs Display Resist Sans comes in two versions: Display and Text, which serve different purposes but remain interchangeable and even complementary in some cases. Resist Text is equipped with deep ink traps and optical compensators, which really come into play at smaller sizes. Certain glyphs (such as 'f', 't' and 'l') are more narrow, which makes larger bodies of text more u...
